Title: Pictures of me racing against GRIFTERS .

I was talking to Ron Burgundy at the weekend about racing against Gaz Morgan and Keith Mcginly who both rode modified grifters the pictures arent brilliant but most people will have heard about Gaz and keith and there raleigh grifters. There was a piece in a magazine about the grifters in BMX action if anybody has a scan then could they please post it.

Check out the geometry on them Grifters..Years ahead of their time!

If only Raleigh coulda made em weigh half a ton lighter and not made the downtube out of Iron Drainpipes....

I rode a Grifter on a downhill mess about ride one day in 82' did a jump,stem came clean out in mid air....

...and to this day i still see the scar on my chin when i shave..  ;D

Where's the track in the second pic Bof it looks cool (although with my shit memory I probably raced their and have just forgot  :LolLolLolLol:)

Suck mi plums you numpty, rochdale had a track heywood had a track this track is in heywood, which in turn is in the rochdale borough.
darwen is lancashire , bolton is greater manchester and fooking worlds apart. I tell thee.!!! ;D

I remember watching Kev Riviere (the get away driver) on a grifter at Chatham years ago......never seen a Grifter go so quick  ;D
