Would be good to see the early race reviews, especially the early Chatham races :daumenhoch:
-

yeah love to see some more scans from it :daumenhoch:
i have some of the later ones
-
i didn't know bi-weekly became invert
-
I'll scan a few choice bits in soon as I get a minute.
Ruler...I'm sure someone will correct me on this if I'm wrong - but as i recall (or made up in my frazzled memory) the Higginson family signed over distribution rights from Bi-Weekly to the Nobles who re-launched.
-
yeah i think ur right hudu,
from what i can remember about it, bi-weekly and freestyle bmx ran side by side for a short time, then combined into freestyle bmx, which then became invert, and eventually ride... ???
(would also love to see some scans of ur mag :daumenhoch:)

was that the newspaper type thing that was around,
i've only got the vaguest memories of it but it was like a broadsheet type thing?
-

I have a copy or two in the loft
Hudu, any piccys from that track on the farm hillside? Eckington????
DINGO
-
Yeah Joe, It was a full on weekly newspaper in broadsheet size, colour front page. I have the full collection. Some a bit tatty now.
Mark, you know that Eckington was before both bmx AND cameras were invented.
