Post by: woodz77 on December 17, 2007, 09:36 PM
hi people . want to get my self a bmx and defo want a sets of mags on it . now ive been looking on ebay and found out that some wheels are 10 mm axels and some are 14mm axels ???? now i know at the moment i havent got the money to buy an old skool bike with skyways . so i was going to get my self a cheapish newish bike and then buy some mags/skyways for now . but will a set of skyways fit a newish bike ???

what size axel do skyways have and can you change the axels ?? so if i got a frame with a 14mm hole and mags with 10mm could i change the axels to suit ???

cheers in advance  :D

Sorry , yeah the skyways are 10mm and you will need the converters to fit them to most new school rides  :)

I think you can get Skyways in 14mm too.
