Title: s&m dirtbike 90s what decals help

serial SMD 8657 1"  dirtbike in yellow  im looking to see what style of decal would have been on it
does anyone have a pic.

Can't always go from numbers.  Sounds later though.  Does it have 990 mounts?  How about the brake bridges?  Is the lower one round or flat?  Pictures would help.

i had one of those, sold it last summer.

They have a "dirtbike" sticker with chunky thrasher magazine lettering on the top tube near the headtube, about 6 inch long - black with red outline.


on the down tube they have this weird really thin line lettering "saying s&m bikes" in silver

nice one  if you ever get the chance to do a little close up on the downtube decal so i can save it
so its clearer to me what im looking for ,doesnt need to be good quality   :4_17_5:

I think the Thrasher Dirtbike stickers originally came on a later(2000) Dirtbike model that was by then, a threadless front end but still the classic design.

The THRASHER sticker and the silver downtube text was the first set of decals for the NEXT GEN dirtbike in 1997. That yellow 1" dirtbike must have had new stickers put on it.

Dan, the frame you got there was pretty much unchanged for several years and went through loads of decal sets. The frame number does suggest its one of the later 1"frames, maybe 95ish
