Title: HEYWOOD BMX TRACK
Post by: HEYWOOD BMX on January 03, 2008, 09:31 PM: :) Hopefully I can now lay my hands on the startgate mech for Heywood track. Would anyone be interested in racing there in the future? The track is ideal for those new to racing as it has nothing too big/harsh (only the cheesegrater surface).For those that don`t know ,it is situated in Queens Park,between Bury and Rochdale.

Post by: MartyC on January 03, 2008, 09:58 PM: Is that the track on the side of a hill, behind some houses off a main road? Not that I live near there but I do recall seeing a BMX track either in or just outside of Rochdale on a few business trips up that neck of the woods a few years ago.

Marty that sounds like the other track in Rochdale in to me i dont know if that one is still there. :)

:) How did you kill the Silver Streak? I rode a brand new SuperCross at the old Rochdale track about 3 years ago-the headset blue up first lap round.No way you can put anything other than a DH bike on that track!
