Post by: woody allen bars on January 08, 2008, 05:01 PM: Just had a look through some Ride US mags up to the end of '96; the only Peregrine bars listed were Pros, Q2 and latterly the Sliver flatland bars. I'm guessing the Strut bars must be from '97 on?? Good looking bars tho' (bit reminiscent of Bully bars) and a steal at that price. :daumenhoch:

Post by: Wayne Ryder on January 10, 2008, 10:33 AM: I had some Struts until a couple of years ago, didn't know they had a name till now, assumed they were just 'Peregrine Kneesaver-Style Bars').
Quite low-slung bars with less sweep than most, very good chrome (as always with Peregrine). I'm sure they date back further than '97, maybe as early as '92. They were old stock when I bought mine from Superbike in about '95.

I think when I sold them they went for about what Extreme Direct are asking, so it's a good deal.
