Title: dumb chain question!!, youve been warned

ok here goes,
i have a o/s blue bmx chain which i have removed from an old frame with my trusty chain link remover, and have tried to refix to a different frame but i cannot for the life of me get the fooker back together....

can you buy single links with the fixing clasp thingy on the back of them???
if so please give me the link

if not i shall put myself up for a public flogging due to my immence stupidity on this subject  :-[

ur LBS should have one for you. ask them for a split link.
they should only be pennies.

Set of pincer pliers to hold the pin and a big hammer works for me if I go too far with the chain link tool  :daumenhoch:

Yes you can get the joining link, but make sure you get the correct one, take the chain with you too a local bike shop and they should be able to sort you out  :daumenhoch:

If your chain is an old blue one it's 99% going to be a 1/8" picth so just ask your local shop for a joining link for an 1/8 chain.

failing that mate buy one in ASDA as it comes with two for £3  :daumenhoch:
