My mate used to race Robinsons and Diamondbacks. He reckons he had a bike that cost over 1g BITD?
I have showed him the museum and he cant recall the bike he had?
Were these bikes really that good? ;)
-
Alan's was telling me that BITD he had to cut the gusset out. . No one wanted a "R" gusset bike in the later years and he couldnt give them away :wtf: :LolLolLolLol:
-
Whats the quad doin in the racing section numnuts :LolLolLolLol:
-
i think that what the rsr was , a bobby woods with the gusset cut out and robinson stickers with a gold background , i think
-
The RSR was named after the porsche rsr and was a limited edition of 100 complete bikes built by Alans in 84.I think robinson dropped the gusset in 83/early 84 and the RSR was based on that new frame.
I have a may 84 non gusset looptail pro which i think looks the bollox and asked Alan about a RSR sticker set for it but he wasnt to sure if he had any and ive never followed it up.Would have loved an original though.
-
leave that se quad thing in the cellar... where it belongs.
robo gussets are nearly as common as 9mm pieces here in salford :2gunsfiring_v1:............................................next!

the hit you get off sniffing petrol is second only to a gas buzz :D
and they are not blinkers, they're bullshit deflectors :idiot2:
