Mansfield and Chessy Nationals and the Brits for Me :daumenhoch:
:) DINGO :)
-
will there be os at these tone?
-
Not heard anything yet. But we did get an invite to come back to the Brits this year. I think its probably best to avoid Old school racing at nationals, after Burnham Brits last year it was obvious that our bikes/riders would have great difficuly on tracks like Burnham and Cheddar. I raced OS at Mansfield last year and enjoyed the track so I might go up and race even if its new school. The queen wants to race after June too. :daumenhoch:
-
Seems like a fair spread of races and venues. Shame that Burnham had to step in for another club, so it means 4 rounds are there, but that can't be helped.
I think I'll definitely do the first 5 or 6 and 1 other (Preston maybe) to get a ranking. Plus the Brits.

So who is doing the 40+ cruiser this year . :daumenhoch:
-
Well gutted that Dagenham never got a look in, despite being up to national standard :-[
Oh well maybe next year.
:daumenhoch:
Thats my birthday weekend at cheddar, so I think me and the queen will be there.
Jai, I may just take you up on that offer, Cheddar doesnt look OS friendly so New scholl may be the way forward :daumenhoch:
-
New school bikes all the way for nationals. Plenty of the OS regulars are more than good enough for 40+. Be good to see you guys on the gate.
As for a Daggers national in 09, that would be cool. One of my fave tracks on the South circuit. Just get that first berm sorted and the jumps made a bit bigger and then watch those Pros fly!
-
Come on guys we want semis in 40+

Come on guys we want semis in 40+
We sure do Kev. No Grand Prix in 40+ anymore! We had semis in 37-42 Autumn national at Chesterfield and it was good fun, so hopefully with the existing racers who move up to 40+ this year and the old schoolers who are coming back, we can get semis and more track time.

weres bournemouth tone :-\

Dunno Paul. The South didnt get a look in >:(
-
Seems Bournemouth didn't want a National this year and after all the grief they had last year who can blame them!! Was 'nham really up for a National Ratty?? How did the Council react to suggestions of loadsa of BMXers camping alongside the track or in the park?? Great facilities at 'nham, toilets, showers, kitchen area, etc. but a local Council who always seemed a bit reticent to something big. I think 2009 will see the return of Nationals to the SOUTH, just maybe somewhere close to the south coast. Humps
