what tyres do you guys use for freestyle on an 80s ride
cant make me mind up .fancied white walls but not that good are they really

BITD I used GT Tyres, Tioga Comps and Panaracer's - all look good on an 80's freestyler :daumenhoch:

Yes as above & of course Haro or Hutch on anything after 85 :daumenhoch:

Haro whitewalls are ok, I have comp st's on me Torker and I properly use it, spines and shit :LolLolLolLol: they grip ok, but only ok. If you are using it for owt serious I would go for some KHE Lamellos (amberwall) or go totally newschool, same with your brake block choice (My Torker wears koolstop V pads) :daumenhoch:

I mainly used Comp ST's or Panaracers and had one pair of Comp Pool tyres which I loved and lasted fooking ages, used some whitewalls in the very early days before proper freestyle tyres were invented but they were a bit dodgy, looked cool and were ok for flatland but not that hot for ramps and parks. I also had some Cheng Shin amberwall tyres that they put on Raleigh bikes and they were like freestyle tyres before freestyle tyres were invented if that makes sense. And funnily enough I got some off Stevie (Generallee) a couple of weeks ago for a build I'm doing at the minute. Didn't think I'd ever see any ever again but I've got some :daumenhoch:
I agree with Simon (94 performer) though, if you're gonna ride it properly then either KHE Lamello amberwalls or Primo V Monster amberwalls as well, both excellent tyres and still look cool because the look old school.

Comp St's, GT's or Haro tyres for 80's freestyle.
I ride Primo V monsters these days (if you can still get them !).
