can someone tell me what the fook is happening to the sport that has governed my life for twenty two frickin years!
first they start wearing tight t shirts to the point where you can see the belly button (deane hearn)
then comes the 'wearing of the sisters jeans' ffs (nearly every kid around at the mo (apart from billy))
then comes the 'nancy shagging hairstyle' (most kids around at the mo)
and now FOOKIN PINK bikes and FOOKIN PINK bikes on here
-
Im not into tight jeans and too much time spent on hairstyles. But Pink bikes are OK, its just a colour, same as any other. In fact, in the Victorian times Pink was considered to be a macho colour
-
studded belts will be next ::)

I had trouble getting into Corby WITHOUT a studded belt. I had to borrow one of someone who was much cooler than me to be able to get a ticket to ride
-
yeah i had to mug a kid outside to get a studded belt to get into corby. got lucky though and i got lucky it was a ugp belt!
-
phil, ;D ;D i feel really guilty now, i painted the pinkys on here :-\
still in my day it was lavender, flouresence and padding in your shorts ;D skateboard style :-[
-
He who shouts loudest, takes it the deepest
-
phil, you forgot the headbands ???
-
pinks only cool if yer man enough to pull it off (excuse the pun), new school in general is less about the bikes n all about packin fudge thats why the body piercings, tight jeans and the hair (apparently it gives ya summat to hang on to) thats why the seats are always to low to sit on, coz they can't sit as theyve all had their arses stretched by some 'tashed hairy arsed builder in a yellow vest the night before :D
-
Daz is shooting from the hip again ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) ::) He sure doesnt hold back . :LolLolLolLol:
But to be honest who gives a fook. I forgot my belt when i went to burnley sk8park the other day, so I tied a pair of jump leads around my waist , they said I could come in as long as I didnt start anything.

i love pink and i want to bum you all. :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol:
personally I won't wear pink or ride a pink bike, but that's just perosnal choice. I think it's cool for someone to stand out from the crowd and ride something a little different rather than follow the sheep.
i'm a sheep meself, my bike's raw...it's the new black. :LolLolLolLol:
one thing Muttley has done is get his bike noticed. Even if it is a bit camp. :LolLolLolLol:
(only joking, i think it's right cool)
and at least no fokking chav is gonna want to steal ya bike if its pink. :daumenhoch:

I think pink (and suchlike) bikes are a reaction against the doom and gloom of dark frames and dark parts...You can almost hear the church bells toll when you see some dreary offerings...
Though I still doubt I'd ride a pink bike :-[
Ray.

I had a pink TA for a while and sold it to someone on Rad but can't remember who.
-
mark j had or has a pink ta
-
Didn't Mike "Hollywood" Miranda start it all bitd with his all pink race bike and race kit?
Not a new school thing at all, just fashion and that doesn't last long. Also, I'm not sure that pink is a gay colour these days, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rainbow_flag :LolLolLolLol:.
-
You only truley know you are an old git when you criticise what you once did when you were young, IE keep up with current fashions and trends for your generation.
I remember Tight jeans and pink bikes in the early eighties, I also remember old fookers saying I looked daft in my sisters jeans :LolLolLolLol:
I also remember legwarmers with said tight jeans  :2funny:
Its all good , if not try Terry Wogan and marmalade on ya toast at 7.30am sharp every morning ;)

Pink is ok now for boys.......if you are a teenager.
I personally wouldnt be seen dead on a PINK bike, but thats one of the great things about BMX......individuality!

ok, i wore tight jeans bitd but not womens ones. never had an emo haircut andi do have pink tuffs under the stairs. pink is just a colour after all and does make you stand out- remember woody itson on his hutch.
being up various sk8parks around south wales some of the stuff i hear about the young emo riders these days- going both ways -and i don't mean on airs, underage girls, etc, etc. i suppose they are just rebelling in their youth but don't need to hear about really, just want to ride and shoot some good photo's and video.
-
best not wear me pink and brown vans then lol
altho i thought they was white and brown
trick photography by crazy craig lol
-
i had a pink skyway bitd. carlo rode one too. ;D

I basically did a pink ripper as i havent seen one before. Ive already got a black one and i managed to buy the f+f's that i got painted pink for a £100!
I could have just got it powdered white, decalled it up and stuck it on the bay for £600 ish quid but i didnt.
I decided to have fun and go for it. Hutch Hollywoods look great so i knew i was on a winner.
Trust me.........it looks awesome since its been built and i am well glad i did it. I would never ride it anyway but sometimes you have gota try something different. Even my MRS likes it! :LolLolLolLol:
