Nobody in the Pool could undersand where the earth tremers were coming from as the 2 BMX riders passed them ;D
Lets see them in some double jump action then :daumenhoch:

There has been about 3 of them sat under my nose for years and years till about 2 years ago. Now their aint one!
I'll get Geoff Cain to check those two out, it will give him some kind of nasty WAL flashback, Im sure.

nice :)
dont see many of them
Not with EZ bars and headlocks!.............................Why?
Nowhere near era correct and impractical, slap some kneesavers on it!
-
dont see many of those,
i was at a backyard jam and everyone was jumping the step up at mini ramp
a big rut started and a dude on a wilko set up came to a sharp stand still due to his wilko forks.
very funny.
it was when canning rode a performer and was havin big tuck no handers :)

Rory, I think that was Steve Geal, on his Zimma. They also had the silly low forks and low pegs so they looked much the same. I was only talking about that the other day.
-
alex i still got a pair of zima forks for a trade :)
if you know if anyone needs
-
I know that Doug has still got a Zima frame but I think he has got forks. I dont think Geoff has a Zima any more. I will ask if either of them are interested in forks tho.

I got 15 stitches in my knee thanks to those forks! >:( Misjudged my pegs position on my first ride on my Zima.
-
The thing was, those pegs were several inches lower than the axle, and the frame and forks were very very heavy, but it never stopped Steve from doing toothpick grinds (bonks) on really really high stuff. I guess he WAS the bunny hop champ for a few years running.
-
the two frames are both SE made i think but Dans with the black seat aint got a coaster hanger, any body know anything about the frame changes?

fook me, i remember Geoff flying around Southsea on his red WAL, late night sessions. Used to amaze me how he threw it around n handled it so well... must've been like riding an anchor?!

Geoff was (is) the man, for sure. The first time I rode with him I met him at Southsea. He totally blew my mind riding, unreal. It was dark, sligtly wet, and only about 4 of us there and he was going off. Infact, I dont think I ever saw him ride like that again!

fook yeah for sure, totally different then anyone else! do you remember how he'd jump out the jumpbowl 4ft to the right of everyone else???
