Title: What tioga frame is this???
Post by: dj B silverlite on January 21, 2008, 06:51 PM: Hi ive had this frame a little while and was trying to find out what it was. I found the rhino is similar but im not so sure :-\. There are 2 sets of serial numbers they are 847213 in bigger numbers and KT199QX 16 in smaller numbers. Any ideas? thanks

Post by: bodamus on January 21, 2008, 08:52 PM: Not sure what Frame it is but 847213 is probably your Frame Serial number 1984 made and the KT199QX 16 is probably someones Postcode stamped on it.

Tange made generic frame , that may have been sold to many companys and re stickered , good frame if not the most desired
they did 3 diff rhinos and a few chargers

Post by: pickle on January 22, 2008, 09:42 AM: i remember a thread a while back with one of these frames with Stratton Cycles on it, the view was it was a low end Tange frame made for them to sell as a complete (i think) .......but looks cool in my oppinion mate :daumenhoch:

Thanks for all the help people :4_17_5:, ive looked and there is a designed for stratton uk sticker on it. so must be just a generic set. Ill build it up though and we'll see how she looks when built. I do like the frame though :smitten:. Gonna build it ride it in the summer on the half pipes at wolves and see how it rides/snaps! :laugh:

It's a great frame, I would build it up and ride it, MK 08 race machine has a ring to it :daumenhoch:
