for those of you who raced at the folkestone flyers track here's a pic of some 17+ berm action.......
the guy in second place is my best friend simon tyrrell, brian emsley in second place who i met today by chance after some 20 or so years when he came into tibbs cycles today and thats me in forth place.

Nice photo phil :daumenhoch: i raced there quite a few times and remember simon tyrrell,i raced against him a few times when i reached 17 etc.Also tony williams,jason butler when i was in the 16 year olds,alex hennessey some tosser called glendower ;) actually phil i wish i could remember more names from the 16 year olds and the 17+ who raced folkestone,adur aces,bexhill bombers etc can you name more?

A FEW SOUTH REGIONALS WERE HELD AT FOLKESTONE SO MOST OF THE TOP RIDERS FROM THIS REGION MADE AN APPEARANCE AT SOME POINT :daumenhoch:

Yeah i remember the peal brothers met up with both over the last year and of course mr boughton :daumenhoch: anyone remember james rose?rode a hutch with all the matching gear,actually i think he used to wear pink a lot :coolsmiley: also Derrol kennard think he was quite a big sod,simon omer and lee butler smith think that was his name.

;D ;D good memories Phil, I think the 14 plate is Paul Howard but not sure, he was in Tony Williams' age group, so perhaps riding up an age group that day. What about Barry Smissen who beat Pete Middleton into 2nd when he raced at FF? :D

I HAD SOME GREAT RESULTS IN THE MOTO'S BUT TOTALLY COCKED MY GATE IN THE FINAL.
THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS WHEN YOU HAVE SUCH A LONG BREAK FROM RIDING :'(
