I'm not gonna replicate that bike, god knows why i had a leary turbo saddle on my bike anyway! I've still got the chrome dc 890 brake though! I'll just build it with some nice bits from that time.......

Good stuff Clive, great that youve got the frame.
Its good that you aint gunna be a slave to your old setup. I bet you, like most people, changed parts on it quite often anyway so the photo is just how it was that day.
It would have been easier if you didnt have such expensive tastes back then, eh?

Well back then profiles were about £160 and the Hutch pedals were £100. I guess i'd be looking at nearly a grand for those now eh? Redline twin pinch 401's and Crupi rounds will do me just fine.......although i do know of a huge Hutch pedal stash I could raid for reasonable money....

Marty, I know someone who has a BIG NOS stash and thinks the arse might fall out of the market so might be selling some stuff. However he's minted and is out of the country half of the time so we'll see what gives.........

cheers Hero, i emailed him yesterday funnily enough, i've ordered two, sweet aren't they?
-
little update, framesets been powdered black, i've applied a NOS fork decal (circa 85/86) and a NOS seattube decal (circa 87), need to get graphics sorted but they were all screen printed and the confetti style ones like the seattube are going to be impossible to do so i think i'll repop the earlier graphics (like my original bike anyway). many thanks again to all you guys who pm me links and stuff. This aint gonna be no round tube ripper but i wet my pants when i got that frame in 85, i thought it was just the best thing ever!
