is there a tool available to cut the threads onto spokes?
ive just laced a set of 24" ukai's but the spokes havent tightened
enough on the rear wheel? i just thought adding a little more threads
would solve the problem :)

Bargain. :LolLolLolLol: Actually this really is a marvel of engineering!

I was going to say, make sure the spokes dont end up being too long. There is usually enough thread for a spoke nipple so cutting more would mean you'd need to cut it down.
Anyway, that tool will take care of that too. But it MIGHT cost less to get a new set of shorter spokes

i have one of those ,its a bit wn and find some of the threads arvery shallow
as its so old i would be unsure you could buy new cutting heads
-
Dude tell me what length spokes you have i have various 24 and 26 inch spokes and the tool to cut and thread them at work, i probably have spokes the right length but not sure if they will be black or silver. Saves you buying a tool. :daumenhoch:

think i need 238mm.
its strange ive used 240mm and they worked fine on the front.
but the rear seems slightly to long?? ??
-
Maybe the hub flange is slightly bigger, ill go measure me spokes back shortly.
-
right sizes list up to 238mm then start from 252mm i can get you 100 with nipples black or silver for £12.50 any size i could cut and thread them for you but its not a quick job im afraid but i would like to be 100% sure of the size you have otherwise im waisting both our time, let me know what you want to do cheers.
