Can any body remember chas smith he came from bradford
and had his own frames built ,chas smith racing i think

YEAH REMEMBER CHAS VERY WELL....47:16 gearing he was number to in the 13 age class in 83 season steve greaves no1 chas no2 and stu diggens no 3 me darren wood no5 there is a picture of chas on the gate with me and stu and wanye at the 83 euros in dijon in FRANCE OPEN CLASS STU 1ST CHAS 2ND AND ME 3RD (SEE DARREN WOOD PICS) FOR THE PICTURE IN DIJON..... :4_17_5: :4_

Yup used to race Chas in the NorthEast one of the only people in the UK I remember with Son-Lite Hubs. Fast clean racer

I've raced you aswell Darren if you remember

Just picked up one of Chas's old frames, it seems this thread is about the only thing on the internet relating to him.

If anyone has any more info it would be greatly appreciated. Will put some pics of the bike up later on.
