hi everyone,

i got this standard shorty last weekend, going to start restoring it from this weekend,

any parts suggestions welcome, will add pics as i get it done

everything you have got, keep. there spot on.

plastic dx's with studs ground off for proper flatland build of that era

plastic gt seat with front cut off and melted smooth

if you can track down a set of acs rl edge tyres. fookin long shot but would rule

gyro

sbc seatpost

tech 77's

see if del will do another deal with the devil for some era correct downtube stickers.

i have a black a gt seat ;)

the other bits i think i have except the sbc seatpost, not tried a post yet but think its 25.4

yeah the guy i got it all off sold the graveyard sprocket, but i was lucky as he could get another :)

Generel Lee had a few pairs of RL edge tyres but I think he sold them all now. The last pair were on here only a few weeks ago and a great price too, but Steve's stuff always is!

i think there is only one pair he is willing to let go, but i'll ask for you


haha, steve sold 2 pairs a while back and kept a pair for himself, i dont know why i talked him into keeping them, cause he sold them to someone else a month later DOH !! :-[

rob this will be one of the sbc post you might look out for
its a 25.4 with a 22.2 stuck in they end with welds showing at the join

yeah tell me, although there is a place in the US that has a few but they are white skinwall and i want black :(

well this is slowly getting there, just got the shorty back from SBDan in beautifull gloss black,

need decals so i'm going to have a chat with Del,

as for the strip bars i ended up with two pairs :)

ok, got my shorty back from SBDan (about a week ago), got a lovely gloss black finish :daumenhoch:

mounted my forks tonight and started getting my wheelset ready which is going to be.....

rear. nankai 14t freecoaster with araya super 7x 48 rim
front. peregrine super pro 48 hub with standard axle and super 7x rim

just need to get rims chromed and then i'm ready to lace them up :)
