mine was 2.99 from homebase , leathal stuff get some chemical gloves

I found a shop where you can buy it for 79p for a big 1kg bag of it.

So i have now taken to cleaning everything with it, even shifts the cheese off your nob.

im doing a chain wheel its black how long do i leave it in it will i need to wire wool it???

Be Careful with that stuff... always use it in a well ventilated area and wear a mask and gloves. A mate of mine got lung damage after inhaling the offgass from that stuff... Be Careful... Ask an adult to help you :santa_afro:

Oh, and be sure to check that the article is actually anno rather than paint as the alloy will melt faster than the paint.

clean...but operational and that doesnt seem to go hand in hand with caustic soda :'(
