Can anyone suggest something apart from tiewraps that can be used to secure the brake cable,dont want to damage paint work etc :)

Velcro strips, don`t know where to get them though :crazy2:

try your local curtains / emroidery / dunelm shop for said velcro strips

I use a Case LOGIC straps that come in many colours, green ( ::)) yellow, red, blue, black, purple etc and get them from PC World.
They look great and only cost about £5 for a quantity.

maplins sells velcro strips got some last week 2 quid 5 colours 2 of each so you might need 2 packets

lizard skin make neoprene srips that fit tound your headset and chain stays you could use the headset one around the down tude of any bike and the top tube of a new shool bike

PC world do the caselogic velco straps which look the nuts and come it loads of different colours :santa_afro:

for that proper old school look use electrical tape ;D

why would you have them headset thingies, ive often wondered...rombloke had em on his haro as i recall...

phil i ran the lizard skin on the 85 master during the winter as over at rom the crap tends to fling up into the bottom bearings, they work like a dirt skirt.
