I have found a cool survivor! check out this chrome 24" Araya 7X with a TNT Revolver hub. picked this up from a local guy off of Craigslist. also got a few other odds and ends... I would like to find a matching front hub to make this set complete :)

I have seen these talked about in the freestyle forum but have never seen a 24". did anyone here have anything like this bitd?

theres a pair of peregrine 24 inch wheels on ebay , ive never seen them before, nice wheel by the way :)

nice find that :)
only see a few odd lace ups in multi spoke but never that.
dans comp in the 90s sold some mega nice wheel sets but not many about now.

I saw those. I had a set of those in silver but passed them along a few months back...

Didnt someone ride a 24 with 72 spoke wheels at a King of the skatepark event?
Ted Emmer or something like that
:) DINGO :)

peregrine used to make a 95 spoke wheel for 20"
looked fookin ace! meant for the custom cruiser market i think though

Dave Manly used to build this sort of thing, he built the 95 spokers from Super Pro's (double drilled) & Also he built the 71 (not 72 due to the valve hole) From GT Large Flange hubs & Araya 7x rims (not 100% on that rim though?) I bought a pair of Manly 71's bitd for about £280-£300 as I remember & I ended up smashing the rims up so I double drilled a set of Araya Aero's after getting the gold anodising off with some shot blasting :daumenhoch:
Ray still has those wheels me thinks??
Rayo piccys??? ;)

Tim Ruck also did a 71 spoke wheel, can't remember who sold them (maybe green machine) but they were branded as 'Truck' wheels.
Mr Leech has probably got one laying hidden in his vast warehouse, er I mean garden shed! ;D

If I remember right, did'nt Green Machine make a jobby called an "Saturn ring" or somthing like that?
so when you laced up a 71 hole rim, you did'nt need a matching holed hub because the "floating" ring also
had 36 holes, so you laced radially from that out to the rim. Kinda odd looking.

oh yeah, i remember that. seemed a good idea to give some more radial strength...
i recall scott carroll (rip)had a bashguard yellow haro sport in neon yellow with the manly wheels which had been paid for my mark noble/invert/whatever their trick team was called bitd. vid here-
