Title: 2005 Goose Replica-Keep parts and box?
Post by: defjam on January 30, 2008, 06:34 PM
Hi All,

I have virtually rebuilt by swapping parts bit by bit as I go (As we did BITD! ;D)my Mongoose 2005 Replica over the past two years, keeping only f/f, stem, headset and chain!

I am almost there, I will post a couple of pics soon to be ridiculed by the style police :police:

Is it worth keeping the bars, grips, brakes, seat and post, reflectors/chainguard and delivery box or as they are so "organic manure" by comparison, sell em on cheap?

We need the space, the garage is damp and not secure but as it is a Limited Edition I feel I should keep the bits, plus I can transfer all the top toys to a new frame and re-build the goose as I already have the bits.

Do you guys keep the original bits now or get rid like BITD?

Please advise,

Cheers

Rich :daumenhoch:

Hang on to them - your need them when you come to sell if you want to recoup your investment - just shove them up into the loft  :daumenhoch:
