That last one really is custard :LolLolLolLol:
How do you hang them Dan?? do you hook on inside to holes for the top tubes or just friction fit the welding rod.

tbh, every frame is differant, some have internal holes and some don't,

the trick is to find where you can hang to paint so when you remove the hook

there's only a small mark, that a seat post or brake caliper will hide :daumenhoch:

Beautiful colours, but that welded Ripper was crying out for the weld to be smoothed off before being finished

AMAZING dan! What a job, im relly looking forward to meeting you on saturay to get them!
That orange is amazing. The yellow is done to replicate a yellow 90's ripper I once had and stupidly sold, and the colour match one is so I canhave a tan colour looptail. Thatll then be a looptail in brown, one in tan, and one in baby blue - true se colours! [not to mention the polished one and whie one I have too. God i need help!]
Top work Dan, esp on the quad filler!
And I like it when I can see the rewelds on frames, really shows the frames true history to me.

it was two pack,  because of the filler in the top tube,  once a frame has body filler on it,

it can't be powdered,  the filler would bubble from the heat of the oven :daumenhoch:

generallee,
i cant believe you had paint work done without getting that weded mess sorted first  on the loop.
especially when your builds are as good as they are.

donker, trust me thisll still look awesome built up, I just have always liked to see rewelds on alloy frames, for me it shows the past battle scars of a bike and adds to its beauty. Guess im too in love with bikes and theyre history , but I love the fact that someone felt the need once upon a time to take it somewhere and have a crappy weld job on it just to keep riding it. Reminds me of how I kept my frames/forks/bars going inthe 90's!
Many wouldnt do what I have with the whole leving it and painting over it thing, but hey , its my frame and im building it for me, and I love a good reweld! [or bad reweld!]

Putting the cat amongst the pigeons....

Easy Mr illson...

Very nice pro paint jobs but........

Why paint alli in the 1st place?
I thought you had seen the light when you got your purple pk done...

Polished, bullburnished or anodised is the ONLY way to go.

It's like putting a donkey jacket on a donkey....
Or lycra on a lion....
or...Tights on a tiger....(don't know where that lot came from, but)

Its NOT right.

Yours sins celery
Mr illson
ps..spose it's the only way to cover nosh tho.... ;D
