seems that i'm getting a few pats on the back at the mo for my paint work on your
pride and joys, seems strange at times when i do this all day every day but the frames are
done with a love of bmx so it's important to me to do the best i can, the feedback and pms i get
mean a lot, if your happy then it's job done, the best compliment i've had lately was when yorkie74
collected his kiwi last week, saw the frame and just laughed ;D i think that was a compliment ;)
anyway trust me i have some nightmares at times, untill i open the oven door and see the finish
its in the gods with these old frames, most times it works out well but i come unstuck a few times,
monkeybuiscuts ripper was legend, blew bubbles all over it then it was a whole week rebuiding and shaping
it back then painting it twopack :knuppel2: ;)
once again, thanks and as long as your happy then it's kool :coolsmiley:
-
no way!!!
thanks to you Dan
I had my street bike frame painted this week locally because its gonna get trashed so a cheap job was all that was needed, I cannot believe the difference between the two jobs, yours are silky smooth and this one looked like a jaffa orange in places :idiot2:
Keep up the good work
:) DINGO :)
-
dan your paint work is the nuts :daumenhoch: :daumenhoch:
-
Dan, I have only had one frame painted by you (so far) and its a nightmare. It was only meant to be one of my usual standard of builds but the paint work is so good its got me cleaning up bars and seatposts and looking at getting new wheels built! my tatty old parts would never have been a problem if Id painted it myself with a spray can! >:(
Seriously tho Dan, your passion and knowledge speak volumes on every frame you paint. I think I saw you say "you might get a frame powdered for cheaper somewhere else, but you wont get it done better anywhere else!".
We are all very happy you are here :daumenhoch:
-
im getting a dan paintjob done as we speak ,my first one and my most favourite of all frames
i wouldnt trust alot of others with it and its a beaten up frame.
-

I would not use anyone else :)
-
While everyone else is bigging you up. Im gonna complain now.
1, Wheres me bloody pink two pak????
2, why havent you got a chrome remover tank yet. I bring a beloved redline down to you and you laughed at me, bloody two bob set up you got there
Gotta say though, the bars and forks were better than factory, the titan cruiser was whiter than snow and not a blemish in sight.
If you need something painted then look no further than www.pwsfinishing.co.uk

the only way to describe Dans work. Ive had many a frame painted locally in the past, and I will now only ever use Dan - the finish speaks for itself!

john looked at his arms and said " fook me didn't know your arms where that big" ;D >:D

Dan you delivered just what I wanted with my Robinson, even after I gave you only a vauge idea of what i wanted. Top notch job and really, really pleased with it.
Unfortunately it's one of those colours that doesn't photograph too well, so you have to see it in the flesh to understand how beautiful it really is. :daumenhoch:
