i had a lot but my favorite stayed with me through the last couple of years, a Supergoose 2 with Haro forks and yellow tuffs or red arayas depending on how i felt.
-
mine was me Mk1 pro burner till it got swiped :( then a DB silverstreak :santa_afro:
-
Torker 280.... for me... Racing and freestyle. Light, strong and responsive.
I used to run 185mm flites and Gold Tuff Neck stem, Gold Shimano DX pedals.. The rest of the bike was just how i bought it in new in 83.
I owned PKs, Hutches, Quads etc but the Torker suited me best. :santa_afro:
-
twin top tube pirahana with yellow simplex, painted black with matt blackboard paint. skyway pads...aeroyal seat...cw copy bars whitewall tyres, mx 2 finger lever sr stem...
and that was the bike that i worked up to.
-
I swapped and traded many good frames , but my fav was the changa or the quad .

I love my TRM deeply.
-
i had a piranha first.silver and blue. i loved that bike.best i ended up with was a gt performer.gave it away in about 86/7 :santa_cry:.
-
For racing it would have been my Team Aero Pro Burner.
For Freestyle it would have been my GT Pro world Tour, Double bend frame. That was well cool.
-
I only ever had a freeway although I did convince some stupid kid it was a Vincent, just wrote off to them for a decal set and although the freeway was missing a few bars it was similar. Did however hold the record for the Eastbourne track for three weeks but that was on a Grifter so I was kinda cheating.
-
Easily my favourite. My Supergoose bought as a frame and built up in 81-83. It's goin in the ground with me!

Only cut it when I got my own flat as I got pissed off trying to hoover the fooking long hair up from everywhere. I might try and find a picture :2funny:

The best bikes I had BITD were a MAXIMUM XL 20'' and a HUTCH XL24 cruiser.
Both had nice low bottom brackets, great for getting the power down and fun in the corners when running 185's!!! Hehe.
I won an NBMXA National on the Maximum and a UK National on the Hutch
I still have both bike which are in the middle of being restored.
Watch this space - cos I might actually get something finished before the New Year!

My blue and yellow bog standard burner. Weighed a tonne, but I loved it. Although I still have my my dream bike, which was an MRD Pro. Just got it out of my parents garage, and restored it. Then bought a white one, and have just finished building it. Will be putting up pics in the museum today.
Adey.
