Title: Profile cranks !
Post by: Gashead on February 09, 2008, 01:07 PM
Thats the last time I buy them !

I cant bekeive the hastle I had trying to fit them ! I need to bash the hell to get the arms on the spindle - then once in place use the adaptor to fit the other side, this ripped the chrome off !!!  :tickedoff: :tickedoff: :tickedoff:

I guess my temper didn't help but I'm back to Redline's - profile shite

my new profile arms were tight to fit so i put the spindle end in boiling hot water which expanded them a little before fitting :)

One of the big shops around me has stopped stocking Profile stuff, because of 'quality control'.

I guess thery've gotten too big for their own boots - and the quality is taking second best.

Sorry to say it but I think Profile need to pull their finger out

to be honest, if you do have a Ti spindle, that will be the reason that you struggled to fit em, the Ti axles are made to tighter tollerances, or so i was told.
