Are you really that surprised Dan? After all, there's not many about these days...... (they're all in your shed!!!!)
How much were they new BITD? I think they were £210 or summat?
I think a NOS set of them would go for £300 all day long :)
-
i do remember paying £275 from billys with upgraded axles imported from dans comp
in around 96 but kin nora thats a bit expensive for olde dan
-
I agree. Not cheap at all. But if you were writing your midschool top ten, SuperPros would be right up there eh?
-
I paid £220 for a NOS set about 4 year ago... worth every penny, awesome wheels :daumenhoch:
-
i think my finest set were super pros £200
with standard heat treated axles at £12.95 each
and king cone nut washers, can't remember how much they were. made them similar to gack. threadless cones!
that lot must have come to around £250
-
just before christmas Alans were doing NOS sets for £200 :)
-
Those KING washers were awesome! I've got some somewhere.
-
Ive got some King cones on a set of superpros. I also used to make some that worked the same, only mine were ally, and were a straight cone shape. I used them on everthing, much better than screw on cones that always came loose, and then the gap between the cones and the bearing caused the spindle to bend.
-
still got 2 king cones on my super pro's, good tools!!
used to have king forks as well, they bust every frame i put them on!!!
