i have to say there were some right RAD as fook riding going down tonight from everyone........well everyone other than me! i just had one of those nights when a mixture of intimidation, lack of confidence and general not feeling it got to me, i could've gone home after about an hour! one of those days when you question is it worth the bother :-\
it was great to see some friendly faces and some new ones.......CBCL was riding superb and so were many others who's names i don't know.
I know i shouldn't feel intimidated riding in the same park as you guys...........but i can't help but feeling i'm in the way or i'm just sooo rubbish it's not worth taking up the ramp time...........chalk this session up as a crap one and leave it at that me thinks??
Hppe everyone else enjoyed themselves though :daumenhoch:
well off to bed so good night all..............
-
Don't worry bud. We all have sessions like that sometimes. Best thing to do is to get a brew and relax, enjoy the show :daumenhoch:
As for being in the way, or taking up ramp time..... GET A GRIP MAN!!!!! ;D ;D ;D
Riding is riding. End of ;)

Put it down to experience Rob... you'll be back and fine mate...
Shame you had a crap un- but good to see you.

wish I could have been there dudes.
Rob: riding is riding, it's ALL good, and every minute spent is a minute for you to improve.
Let's get another novice night arranged soon.
I've gotta spend all day today and monday getting the plaster of the walls in my lounge to be re-done, and sinking the sockets and putting a network cable under the floor boards. I'm hopeful I'll have some spare time tomorrow to go out on my new Fly...it's still not been ridden...not once.
-
gotta agree with ya rob :daumenhoch:
-
I enjoyed it BUT as others have said the amount of awesome riders and kids there meant I didnt ride half as much as I would have liked
props to you and Trev for organising it mate :daumenhoch:
Highlights for me:-
meeting Pickle/2020/Rob (Rarmen) and all the others for the first time
Aerostylies music machine (how big  )
guy on purple GT Performer with matching purple mohican
Quad Pete's schooling on the mini-ramp
Bill Stupps old school drop into the vert ramp
Mr Galley on very
Mr Meacher on vert
Guy on brakeless green bike, flair on mini ramp
dude trying to tyre tap the wall above the ramp near the entrance :idiot2:
:) DINGO :)
-
Now ya know hoe I feel every time I go

what was god like?
i was average last night....

Rob, don't worry about last night bud, I can see where you're coming from so was a shame not to see you riding like you do, and you are a decent rider me thinks.
The way I deal with it so's not to get me down is , I know I'm kak...,everyones else knows it, but I don't give a monkeys so just go out and do my own thing.
Just do what ya gotta do, it's your bike so ride it how you like mate 8)
Paul ;)
-
Paul's right Rob (apart from him being kak). You've got to stop thinking like that, especially at one of our own meets.
Fair play to Paul, he doesn't let that sort of thing bother him. You have PaulM & Gerry blasting big airs on the vert ramp. Billy Stupple with his traditional old school drop ins on vert and generally trying his best to kill himself and in between all their runs, Paul (aerostylie) would still have a roll around on the vert ramp. Everyone paid the same to ride last night, so everyone is entitled to have a go whenever they want on whatever they want.
-
Rob don't worry about it and put it down as an off night i think it's probably happened to all of us at some time or the other !!!
Thanks again for organising it and try and see if you can get down to ROM one Sunday morning

I'll do it for you if you like. :daumenhoch:
come on Pickle, your riding is great, so maybe you didn't have such a good time, but I was well jealous of your peg action last time.
I'm not even that confident rolling in and popping out and I'm wondering how to get pegs on the coping. :LolLolLolLol:
