Sounds good.
Them guys at Profile seem to care for the old school nuts we are, don't they ?
-
alledgedly there is talk of some 40th anniversary products, maybe a very very very limited run of nice things like box cranks (gen2)
Who knows eh ;)

Profile are a good company, I contacted them when I was going to the States last year to see if they had a retail outlet at there base in Florida, they replied saying no, but offered me a tour of the plant, sadly did not get a chance to take them up on there offer :'(

WHAT? This is terrible news what's going to happen to the value of all my os Profile stuff if they re-make it all?
Nothing, because I don't have any :LolLolLolLol:. Surprised there's not a rant thread about them doing this ::).
I might be able to pick up a set of Gen2 cranks I can afford now ;).

If they only release 200 sets worldwide, I don't think anyone is gonna get a cheap set :-\
They are apparrently going to be made with the original tools/machinery so not so much a re-pop as an original revived.

Does that count then? :LolLolLolLol:

I think you can pick stuff up OK, I just bought a set of Gen2's off of zippy for less than £200. They will get a rechrome and a new BB and I have a new set of stickers that have been in my sticker box for 23 years to go on them. I reckon they'll stand me in at £240 all in and they will be like NOS when I'm finished. They are missing the spider but a new set BITD would have been £160-£180 so I don't think all this stuff is stupidly priced.
I think Profile will differentiate those anniversary cranks.

Profile box cranks?
I have these and they are close enough for me :LolLolLolLol:
