Very interesting.
I gonna do my Hutch expert frame and fork monday to the powdercoater for the same color  ;D ;D ;D
I gonna build up mine like a 82 with polished parts like shimano DX cranks and pedals, shimano brake,....and have first generation Hutch pad set for it  :crazy2:

BTW are you sure it's a Expert?
I don't see a gusset plate behind the BB????????
Anf the forks don't look lmike a expert fork, more Pro Raider.
Just curious........

JJR,
Well spotted on the forks they are from a Pro Raider.
With regard to the frame I thought it was an Expert, but maybe it is a Junior?

It has 1" OD top tube, 1 3/8" OD bottom tube.
17" top tube length or 18 1/4" measured from centre of head tube to centre of seat tube
It has western Hutch lettering on brake ridge with the letters all touching
Serial No. is 0643665 on inside left dropout with drilled out vent holes in rear loop only
Still had the original '4130 Chromemoly Made in USA' decal at the bottom of the seat tube.

Couple of pics before it went to the powdercoaters:

I think it must be a junior frame.
No gusset behind the BB and the connection of the seattube on the BB is on another position then my expert frame.
Can't take pics of my frame because did it yesterday to the powdercoater........

expert or junior - it's still going to be a beauty!

Great choice of colour... looking forward to seeing the full build.

The parts I have for it are silver/chome, just got to polish up a few things, but now I have found out it is a Junior Racer then I may have to have a rethink on a few of the parts!  :santa_undecided: Saying that I measured it up against a Redline 600a F&F tonight and it is only about an inch or so smaller.
One things for sure I won't be putting aerospeeds or hutch pedals on it with the money they are fetching recently  :santa_shocked:
I can understand the aerospeeds but what is it about the price of Hutch Parts as there seems to be a reasonable supply judging by the amount that pops up on the bay but they always fetch top dollar! :santa_angry:
