Hoping to be there, but not sure yet.

Not much chance of me making the A-Final in a mixed cruiser class though.

I think the main goal for all of us is to keep up with TJ!!

That picture shows me in my 'usual' gate 8 going the long way round!! Why do i ALWAYS get gate 8?????? Am i the only one who thinks this or does everyone seem to get gate 8 more than any other too???????  :( :( :(

I regularly get gate 8 at Dagenham.

Last time I raced there I think I got gates 6-8-8 in my motos.  Can't remember what I got in the Qtr.  Then I got 6 in my final.   :D

Nice one.  I remember now that he said he was getting a cruiser at Dagenham.

Which bike did he buy in the end?

I predict tj will win the final even with 2 flat tyres, a blindfold
and one hand tied behind his back.

I get lane 8 loads at Hayes especially in semis and finals, bloody cheek, I even ride for the club.

I'll be there bouncing off of people on a 20", I've got to give Martin Parker somehting to laugh at if he's not racing.

Mike you shnould be jumping the first straight now after your weeks tuition with Tuffs in France.

He's got himself a redline flight 08 model  :daumenhoch: its the nuts.....can't wait to see it get dirty  :LolLolLolLol:

Cool.  I think those Redline Flight Series bikes are some of the nicest/best off the shelf bikes around at the moment.

Once my Josh outgrows his DK Mini I'd like to get him back on a Redline (Groove didn't have any Redlines in stock and Redline didn't have a UK distributor when we got the DK).

It would be good if all 31 riders who have done both rounds
all turned up for the 3rd, if theres a couple more..................

QUARTER FINALS at a winter regional  :wtf:
Title: Re: cruisers 3rd round at hayes
Post by: dialledbikes on March 05, 2008, 11:15 AM
Don't we need 32 or 33 for Quarters, Kev?  ;)

Actually, what would happen if exactly 32 riders turned up?  Would they have the Motos, but everyone gets through to the Quarters anyway?  Or would they drop 16 after the motos and go straight to Semis?
Title: Re: cruisers 3rd round at hayes
Post by: oldmankev on March 05, 2008, 11:24 AM
Drop 16 i would think Mike, other wise the motos would be a
pointless wast of energy and time.

Post by: dialledbikes on March 05, 2008, 11:56 AM
Shame on you Kev  ;)  Riding/racing is never pointless or a waste of energy and time.  Plus there's moto points to be had (OK, not so much an issue for people who make regular A-finals).

I'd like to race this weekend, but never really enjoy racing at Hayes (love the club and the folk who run it, but the track doesn't flow well for me.  Enjoy racing at places like Bournemouth and Dagenham more).

Totally agree mate, the only reason i have done the series is
to keep riding over the winter as there was no official WS,
what the Hayes crew do to get new blood into our sport is
great but the 1st straight is not a race track.

Post by: wolfybmx on March 05, 2008, 01:58 PM
i agree with kev the first straight ?????????????
Title: Re: cruisers 3rd round at hayes
Post by: dialledbikes on March 05, 2008, 02:07 PM
It's great watching the top guys launching that first straight (and wishing I had the balls to try it) , but not that many people can actually do it in a race.

However, I accept that tracks need to be more tech to bring on riders for the future, so my opinion doesn't really matter.
