More news and prices in the next week or so. This is at a very early stage but at least you'll all be buying your Skyways from a UK dealer and be free from the dreaded import duty.

can you undercut coloredtuffs shipped price for the new 24" T-Spoke Graphite Tuffs > now there a challenge ?
Well...... Coloredtuffs is getting the entire first production run of the T-spoke Graphites, unless they can manufacture more hubs in time. As of today, my rep is already telling me that they probably will not be able to get me all of the wheels that I've ordered this time around. We've been working closely with Skyway to get this wheel mold done (and the T/A framesets), for the past year, and now it's time to get to the production stage. The 24" wheel mold is almost done. The final "spoke" was being cut today in the machine shop, and the mold will be tested over the next couple of weeks. (If you want to see the wheel mold, check out the pictures at coloredtuffs.com)
The Graphites, as well as red, blue, yellow, black, and white Tuff 24's will be made all at the same time, and will be available in about a month. We have hundreds of these wheels on order, and it appears that there's not enough hubs to get all of them made at this time, so we'll split them up as best as we can so we can get at least enough to fill the orders that we have coming in right now.
In addition, by contract, we are the exclusive distributors for all of the colored Tuff Wheels- 20" and the new 24's as well. That's why Vertigo only has black and white.
We were approached by an importer in Germany, but in the past we've dealt with Alan's over there in the UK.
If somebody else in the UK other than Alan's is wanting to bring in the colored wheels, I have not heard about it yet.
The new 24" mold was made to be exactly like the ones that were made in the 80's, without the alloy flanges of course. These will be sweet!

Here's part of the drawing of the new "old" T-spoke 24" Tuff Wheel.
-
well all i can say is we have had confirmation from Skyway saying that they will supply us for aftermarket and OE and they are sending us prices and availability etc etc do you have world wide exclusive on these products?
-
I'll be needing some graphs in 24 too. 8)

We do have the worldwide exclusive on all Colored Tuff Wheels sales. We pay to have that exclusive, and have first right of refusal. Skyway had not made colored Tuff Wheels in almost 20 years, and through negotiations, we had Skyway make the colored Tuffs just for us. We pay for the color pigment, and for the set-up fees for the production runs.
We do not have exclusive rights on black, white, or Graphites. All I said was that I bought out the entire FIRST production run of the 24" Graphites. That is what Bart, my inside Skyway rep had told me 8 hours ago when we spoke last. It was a matter of hub production.
-
Thats cool by me dude :daumenhoch:
il be happy to get the black and white tuffs and the graphites :4_17_5:
as I said we are still waiting for the stock list and prices etc from Skyway but if thats what we can import to the uk then im more than happy with that :4_17_5:
