I have 1 pair of white tuffs and another pair of white tuffs with a coaster which I imported from Coloredtuffs.com.

But I wouldn't mind a set of Graphites.  Especially if it works out cheaper than importing them direct from Coloredtuffs.com.

Do all graphites come with a flip flop hub thingymajig?

Is that where they have 2 freewheels, 1 on each side?

You just turn the wheel around to get the different gear ratio?

Dibly, I'd definitely buy a pair with flip flops if the price was right.

That is true actually.  It's being worked on right now, but I don't think we'll see any for a few more months at least.
You can thank Ron Wilkerson for this...!  He wants cassette hubbed Skyway Tuffs for a 09 bike.

definetly would to but youve got the cost of a new mould for wheels(centre different) then the hubs being made then the rivitting etc would probably put at least another oner on a set :)but i,d still want some :)

Last week the old riveting machine was brought in from where it sat in storage for the last 23 years.  The thought was too see if the old equipment would still work.  If it did work.... We might just put out a few alloy flange wheels for the die-hards out there.

The machine was cleaned up, oiled up ... and plugged in............. excitement filled the air as memories of 1979 rushed through everybody's minds...

PUFF!  A bright light... a cloud of smoke.... then flames.  Gears grinded to an extreme halt.  BANG!

The fire alarms rang.... and the fire was put out.

The excitment that had been felt all day long leading to this point died suddenly.

"No more rivetted in hubs" sobbed the head engineer......

And with that... the machine was pushed back outside to spend an eternity back in the storage warehouse.

Bummer.

I would imagine that the macine that made them over here is still around somewhere so it may not all be lost. ;)

That would be nice....... but it's not going to happen.  Not right now at least.  The engineers need to build us a cassette Tuff Wheel now........

flip flop sounds better than cassette to me, easier to manufacture too, leaving the freewheel choice to the punter also makes sense, some go cheap shyte, some go O/S some will do shimano or if they have cashola whyte industries.

Cheap cassette's made to a price point aint good.

Paging an Orbital Riviter!!  Paging an Orbital Riveter!!  The stainless steel rivets are waiting in the lobby.

The guys at KHE say they have one.  We shall see.
