Post by: pickle on March 10, 2008, 12:57 PM
are/were they any good?  i know they still make MTB rims but i've just picked up a set of wheels from the 80's which have Ridgida rims, they're nice as well!   :daumenhoch:

I vaguely remember rigida supercromix which were fitted to my  :-[ Halfords Trakstar (an early mtb type track bike), they werent bad, did the job and ran true.  Got to be honest I quite liked the bike.

they must have come on the Goose though as the rear has a Mongoose branded freewheel.......the hubs don't have any markings other than a kind of V sheild with W.Germany under it??

but they spin forever and run very true  :daumenhoch:

Get some pics up.  Most likely off an Ammaco Mongoose which was a european spec/built bike or could just be coincidence that they have a goose freewheel  :daumenhoch:
