Title: Diamond in the ruff - Robinson Expert ?
Post by: snav69 on March 23, 2008, 11:03 AM
Nice shed find
I'm gonna be doing this up for a mate who has had it since new but has been at the back of his shed for the last 18yrs gathering sawdust and spiders  ::) , I couldn't believe it when he brought it round and said "here ya' go" i thought it was me lucky day and he was givin it to me  :smitten: but in the next breath he said , "can you do it up for me"  :tickedoff:  :2gunsfiring_v1: , i said i would be glad to do it  :) . I know its got the wrong decals on at the moment but the original style are being sorted for me by our decal genius (he don't need his name mentioning but we all know who it is  ;) ) Anyway , i have only ever seen them with the P for Pro on the rear dropouts and this has an E so i am presuming it means Expert  :-\ The toptube length is 18in if that means anything to anyone.
Anayway , here's some pictures  :)

Nice find, just think how satisfying it will be to turn it back into an 80's ride for someone else  :daumenhoch:

Deffo an Expert and think you are spot on with the serial number analysis, mines the same ...
