They look like the real thing, but its always to tell from photo's :-\
-
the welds look nice and clean, did they have the knarling at the stem clamp? also they don't have knarling on the cross bar unlike the painted later ones.....is that right?
cheers Rob :daumenhoch:

Didn't notice the lack of knarling on the cross bar, I don't know then :-\

seeing as the mk I EZ bars didn't have them, the early mk II's might not have either. I'm trying to remember if mine had them or not.
-
he said that he bought the stuff back in about 84??
-
the mark II's didn't come out until 86, and I don't believe Skyway copied them off anyone else.
-
i'd give or take a few years on that as he doesn't have the best memory in the world :LolLolLolLol:

I had a set of ez bars in about '84.They had two curved cross bars not one bent like that at rear. They didnt have knurling on them either. And were chrome plated.

I aint ever seen Mk 2 EZ's without knurling on the cross bars.
Anyone remember Skyway EZ MK2 Mini Bars, Seen lots of standard MK2's on this site but not the mini's.
Hugo Gonzales ran them when he came to UK for Cherry Coke BMX Beat, nearly all of the UK skyway team ran them after his visit.
Carlo, Pepi, Karl Denton, Jason Davies etc. The mini bars also had the knurling.
