Title: Hombre front brake????

has anyone got a pic of a hombre front brake setup???

ive got one ....but can't suss the way the cable go's  :-[

mine's the one with the back plate

Tony,  if you're putting that thing together from scratch,  don't over-tension the springs, they only need turning enough to lift the blocks off the rim cleanly, and no more.... ;)

If you don't want your cable to stick out to the side, invest in a 'noodle' cable guide. I trimmed a little off of one with a hacksaw to shorten the bend a little, it works just fine.

Sorry, no pic, but it's just an aluminium tube lined with Teflon. You see them on MTB V-brakes.
Apparently the flexible ones are even better, but I've only ever used the solid type myself. They cost about £1.50, so no biggie if you don't like it.
