Title: SUPERGOOSE

is this a 81 supergoose ? the frame number is E111568 theres no letters on the frame only these numbers,(should it not have a T on the frame if it is a supergoose?) it has a flat on the inside of the rear right frame?

E1 is may 1981
so most likely stepped rear dropouts too

the flat stay and a 3 hole brake bridge are the clues to the all chromoly frame there
The "T" was dropped with the new serial code style

thats wot i thought,but its got the older dropouts no holes,also no holes in the brake bridge and it does have a flat on the rear right chain stay?
wot do you reckon ?

Mine has the three holes but no flat chain stay so it's not a perfect science.  :daumenhoch:

as bob says mongoose were a bit mix and match especially at the cross over points  :daumenhoch:

yeh, ive got an 83 and that has the 3 holes in the brake bridge but no flat on the frame,but i  didnt want to buy a frame and it not be a supergoose just an ordinary mongoose'so was just trying to be sure it was a supergoose?

You can usually tell by the weld quality on the back end. The tig welded chro-mo stuff looks a lot nicer.
