Supercool pic of Gossa. So that's the long lost works f&f I've heard so much about that he'd give his eye teeth for now...

Ahhhhh! I'm SOOOO HAPPYYYY!!!!!
Cheers bud, i haven't seen that pic for at least ten years, I lost the magazine years ago. That pic was a full page in Racer and Freestyle, up until this point I was a pretty good racer but that summer I just found something extra and got 4th in the European Champs in Germany, onely just missed the final at the worlds (crashed in teh last turn in a qualifying position), then podiumed at nationals against the big guns (Darren Wood, Lee Alexander, Tim Print etc etc).
That picture brings it all back. As some of you may know I still have all the race gear and am doing a rebuild on a 09 bike.
Thanks Moley, i'll return the favour by digging out my magazines for you (and post your stuff tomorrow!)

No worries mate,
This thread and the Harvington Raiders threads turned out quite good.
Sparked a few memories and reunited a few old friends.
I feel like that angel in 'Highay to Heaven' with that Little house on a Prairie chap.
Another Good deed done.
I'm clocking them up. I'm definitely going upstairs!!!!!

Wouldn't you just kill for that setup :smitten:
The bike , plate , helmet and full race gear absolutely love it :4_17_5:
That lot would take some searching for :-\

Black frames = Good
(That Picture = GREAT)

Gossa, You might need some tyres!!!
I can't imagine you'll get much grip with that Bone Shaker style. Proper Old School though (1880's) :)
-
ah mate, i got tyres!!!! I reckon three weeks and she'll be done and that is one bad ass OS legal scoot!
Now I just need a serious crash diet to get into the gear, my goal (seriously) is to get into it by MK. I'm about 14stone and a 34" waist, I was about 11.5stone and about a 32" waist when i wore all this so not too much to loose.
Anyway, after seeing the racing at burnham sunday I did a four hour round trip last night just to go there for gate practice! It was my first time riding a 20" on a track for about 14 years and I was really pleased to find that I can still ride! I wanted to nail the first straight and got that dialled pretty quick, might register for Cheddar, National No2!

You gotta get the black vans they really complete the look.
-
yep, just ordered them!!!!!! And I have the gloves in a bag under the bed and i even have my matching kit bag!!!! What a geek!!!

What a cool pic!
It'll be great to see all your old gear getting put to good use again after all these years. Its really is rekindling your youth.... and what a great feeling that must be.
nice work
