...fecking genius.
Well, I got my 08 OM Flyer and the star bolt in the forks was loose and the top plate wouldn't tighten down...so I pulled it out and looked around for an alternative solution.
I stumbled across the HOPE Head Doctor, and it's a bloody brilliant piece of engineering. Love it, so I thought i'd share the love...(sorry to those who have already discovered them!)
Nice, neat and light, standard 1 1/8" - It's in two bits, both with allen key holes

You seperate the top plate from the bottom plug and then put the plug into the fork tube and tighten (you can see the thread inside the allen key hole for the top plate bolt)

You then simple pop the top plate and bolt in and tighten down. Rock solid. Brilliant.

Anyhow, there ya go, it amused me.

Stodgy make sure you grease the head doctor up well as they can corrode also your forks are not far enough through the stem if your gonna ride hard (ok for cruising tho)
Sorry to be bike :police:
:) DINGO :)

Yep, well greased up Mark...
...and only built for cruising (just gotta get the front end up, hence the stem raised a bit), with my back it'll be lucky to even turn a wheel.
