Don't need to boil the water (although it does help) just have it plenty hot, with some salt and keep stirring :daumenhoch: PM Rombloke, he's the Skyway restoration guru :daumenhoch:. I had to do my yellow ones twice, from this...

oh and rich waxins nos blue tuff 2's was marble effect like that

Those wheels have been on eBay a few times but they always had a silly BIN and nobody bought 'em. When they came back on for a £10 starting bid, I still thought to myself, who's going to buy those? I thought they'd struggle due to the fade and the fact that there a Tuff 1. I was surprised to see how high they actually went in the end considering their condition.
I think the seller buys a lot of his gear from the States and they're probably just faded from sitting in the Nevada sunshine for the last 20+ years.
Have you received them yet? I'd be interested to see if you could mint them up as they look like a lot of work. Maybe post some pics in the Tech restoration section to show us how they turn out :daumenhoch:

yeah, when they are old old, which they are cos there tuff I's, they will have a tendency to have a bit of a marble effect to em...so i reckon they are un-dyed
