on my other goose a 81 the middle section of the crank is shorter which is what i need for this one i presume ?
but i thought there was only one size crank for bmx bikes ? just the arm length differed ?
ive got some redline 3 piece cranks on there way soon will these fit i hope so the money they cost  :LolLolLolLol:
ive put a spacer washer in but its still not enough is there somin wrong with my bike ?

im totally confused hope someone could help me please  :D

unfortunatley one piece cranks are 'set'

so what you need to do is maybe put an extra washer between the chain ring/spider and the drive side bearing race, thus pulling the cranks 'through' the bb by the thickness of the washer.

make sense?

now im more confused then the other day postman just delivered a takagi cro mo 24tpi one piece crank its a different size to the others ive got the middle part is shorter so will fit perfectly without a huge spacer ( or rather  part of a headset  :LolLolLolLol: )
so there defo is 2 different size one piece cranks

I think some BB shells are different widths, and some 3 piece cranks come with 2 spacer tubes for this reason, no idea what frame makers had what size's though.
