Title: Madera Protocol Cranks
Post by: Flatcap on April 05, 2008, 09:55 AM
Madera Protocol Cranks which I believe are made by Profile....is it just me or do they bare more than a passing resemblance to mid school Fishbone cranks. I've always been curious whether Profile made Fishbones because they have all the hallmarks of Profile manufacturing, same spindle etc.

I'm probably way off but those Madera ones do look a lot like Fishbones.

Can anyone tell me otherwise.

Profiles arms are more oval where as these and Fishbones are round, same fittings etc.

I've got some Profiles and some Fishbones and the do look similar which has always made me wonder if Profile manufactured them but those Madera ones are dead ringers for Fishbones.
