how can i tell if a seat post is a genuine se post or not ?
its got a sticker on it :LolLolLolLol: :LolLolLolLol:

I've got one with a sticker on it too.
I think mine has some knurling on it too. I took it off to put a GT Layback post on.
I think someone was selling some SE Powerbars on ebay and he mentioned a sticker and said they don't even bother with the sticker in the US.
Maybe the only people who can tell are the ones who definitely know they own an original seatpost.
I haven't helped at all but I have wondered whether mine is an original post or not too.
I wonder if SE did a layback?

mines not got any knurling on it so thats just made things worsera :LolLolLolLol: sticker does look old and original but stuff knows,its the same sticker as i got on my se bars so i'm reckoning it is,it also looks same material,but theres no markings on either(bars or post) so not 100%
