Title: Does anyone have any old pics of Woodham Warriors Track.
Post by: thecrooch on April 07, 2008, 09:14 AM: Not sure if you are aware but the few of us who have been working down in South Woodham Ferrers clearing the site of the old track also have a facebook group...

We have a few of the old racing pics but if anyone that used to race there in the 80's have anymore, it'd be great to have them listed.

If you can post here ill transfer them over.

i moved there in Oct 84 so probably before i got there....

As for now we are getting there its slow hard work but we pretty much have it cleared, the local council seem behind us - we are gettting to the stage where we need a ecology study of the area and then put in formal planning permission :fart:

oh and it wont have a national - its not big enough - though we do hope to have another bridge!

somehow a national wouldnt suit woodham,it was always a nice local regional track that was always fun to race at.

Harry Leary, Stu Thompson etc... Will post up here once i have my sticky mitts on it...
