Is it wrong to stick a pots mod front brake on a race bike? i did it back in the day. :idiot2:

One thing if you do is you won't ever wack the frame with the caliper. I have a couple of dinks in my frame from doing this and and a slightly bent brake caliper.

i'd say it is if you plan to race it?  only cos if you pull it in a corner say goodbye to the front end and your chin  :LolLolLolLol:

but if it's just for cruising then fill ya boots and do what the hell you pleasy!   i'm all for doing things a little diferent, too many people try and build bikes how they were in the catalogues/shops BITD but to be honest....most of us changed loads of parts on em as we went along anyway.

be diferent and go with what you want to mate  :daumenhoch:
