hey dudes

I want to race again!

Its been a while. Last time was at Corrabrick in South Africa. Junior Champs.

I used to race in Botswana and S.A.

Been in the UK for a few years and thought about getting back onto a bmx.


Is there a circuit in the UK for the 30 + croud?

Hi Homsie,

The 30+ mob are the biggest group in the UK, so come along and race!

Also most of the regionals now have an old school class, so there's loads of choice for you.

Whereabouts do you live? We can point you to some local tracks.

this is the new style of 40+ riders getting as much speed down the straights as possible.....its called the nut rubber(http://www.radbmx.co.uk/archive/albums/ii213/spillers1/2377741113_a8c16ab988.jpg)

You do that aswell!!!!  We keep seeing pictures of Nicholas riding with his tongue out, am worried he will bite it off.  :-\

Bulwell is East Midlands (I think - it's outside the M25 at any rate). There's a thread in the Old Skool racing section.

i went to Bulwell, but i got there bit late and everyone was packing up. Dam you guys get through your heats quickly. Back in SA it was a whole day event with bbq's.

No worries let me know when the next meet is, i will come down and check it out.

just looking at some sweet old school frames on ebay. nead to get a rig set up and fit. Been playing rugby for the last 15 years i know a day on the bike will kill.

i found out today just how much my fitness has taken a decline in the past few years  :-[

ill post a pic tomorrow of me sat on the start hill breathing in all the available air before it all started

there was a possible 6 people today that couldave raced old  skool  :)

yeah i only got there at 3:30. just saw loads of grommets and their moms.
