They aint much better Darren, mine has got a bit of a "kink" where its welded. Bring back Araya's and Ukai's they didnt have this shoddy finish if i remember correctly.....and the chrome was much better aswell!

my Proper rim seems fine.....though it is a black one so maybe the finish is better than chrome?  :-\

My Proper rim is green Rob, my chrome rims are Sun City Lights!  :daumenhoch: But the chrome on them is crap compared to OS chrome plating. It seems to be really thin plating on NS stuff  ???

my friends primo rims are still straight and the chrome is in good condition and he bought them at the same time as i bought my hazzard lites hence why ive now bought a set, bring back super pros i never had any probs with them apart from the crap axles  :tickedoff:

been running hoffman generater rims in chrome for over 6 years now. chrome still perfect, still straight as a die. (had these on a complete sd4 which i laced up to super pro front and hazard casette rear.) not too heavy either.

Finally, someone with a good report of a modern chrome rim   :daumenhoch:

Nothing stands up against SuperPro (Ukai) rims to me, I ran mine for 10 years almost and there was never a hint of trouble from the chrome on them. The rear got worn away by my constant braking, but the rims integretty held up just fine.

I have Primo Hula Hoops in chrome now and they're starting to bubble up now after 3 years.... no other complaints though.

Are those Generator rims still available in chrome?
