Spent the last few days painting an old silver caliper black, that's gone alright but not having much success filling in the white MX logo. Anyone got any tips? My only other idea was to ask uncle Del to make decals up, they might be popular for resto's. Del? Go on....... :daumenhoch:

I used a tippex pen to do mine (not the brush type) :daumenhoch:

Good ideas so far guys, thanks ;)

Enamel paint and a thin brush, then get a cloth wrapped round your finger dip it in thinners and light rub over the painted area to remove the paint off the caliper but leaving it in the MX :daumenhoch:.
-
Tamiya or similar brush paint on the end of a wooden cocktail stick.

Mark ... I use a white touch-up from Halfords which uses a thin tube to apply the paint instead of a brush :daumenhoch:

Your all resto champions, nice example Steve. I got pissed off in the end and bought a black mx 1000 :LolLolLolLol:
But I will finish off what I started....for once.

If doing them in same colour just mask the 'mx' area...

you could try putting masking gel in where it say's mx,this can be bought from halfools or model shops :daumenhoch:
