Title: Wheel re-lacing???
Post by: Flatcap on April 18, 2008, 07:58 PM
I'm sure this has been asked before but I couldn't find anything.

What's the rough cost these days for having a wheel re-laced, anyone got any ideas.

Cheers in advance fellas.

I phoned round my local bike shops a couple of weeks ago to get a set of 7x's laced, i was quoted from between £15-£25 each wheel just for labour, i had to pay for the spokes on top.
I eventually went for the cheaper option at Halfrauds & have regretted it ever since.  They totally messed it up but after i kicked off in store, they relaced them how i wanted & only ended up charging me £15 for new spokes & lacing.  :daumenhoch:

Yeah same here - £15 a wheel for labour. I provide spokes, nips and hubs.
